From the 13th to the 15th of November 2018, ARMIS ITS was part of the Smart City Expo World Congress 2018, the largest international congress for knowledge sharing and debating about Intelligent Cities - with the theme “Cities to Live in” – the gathering hopes to empower cities and collectivize urban innovation across the globe. Through promoting social innovation, establishing partnerships and identifying business opportunities, the event is dedicated to creating a better future for cities and their citizens worldwide.

The event is based around the values of social inclusion and empowerment and is dedicated to promoting awareness, understanding and critical reflection between inhabitants of different cities worldwide, all in a climate of mutual respect and caring.

The program was structured around five axes (Digital Transformation, Urban Environment, Mobility, Governance & Finance and Inclusive & Sharing Cities), counting with the input of over 400 speakers, that addressed topics such as Data-driven Cities, 5G and the future of Connectivity, Resilient Cities, Gentrification, Innovative Transport Systems, Multi-level Governance, Sharing and Collaborative Economy, Circular Economy and Cities for All.

The 2018 edition was the largest to date, with over 840 exhibiting companies and nearly 700 attending cities.

As for ARMIS ITS, our experts showcased our innovation at MS City Next stand, with a live demo of WAY4SMART. We had a great time meeting all the visitors and networking. We can’t wait for SCEWC19!
