EBEC is a 24-hour engineering competition for students from FCUP (Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto) and FEUP (Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto).

In order to fulfill the competition that moved this event, the participants could choose between the Team Design modality, to plan and build two prototypes in CAD software, or the Case Study modality, in order to discuss and create the best solutions for current problems. Throughout the event, there was also a Networking session, in which ARMIS participated in contact with students.

The event is organized by BEST Porto, a group of students from the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST), which is based at FEUP, with the vision to promote diversity and the mission to develop students in the area of technology. The group's intervention covers further education, career support and educational involvement.

EBEC Porto'21 allowed several students to develop their engineering skills and strengthen their range of soft and hard skills.
