ARMIS at ITS European Congress 2023
ARMIS had the opportunity to share its vision of the future of mobility and smart cities with various public authorities, customers and visitors.
Between May 22 and 24, ARMIS attended the 15th edition of the ITS European Congress, organized by ERTICO, focused on the theme "ITS: The Game Changer", at the Lisbon Congress Center.
Together with the partners that make up the consortium of the BE.Neutral agenda, funded by the PRR, ARMIS ITS, Oval Projetos, DMS - Displays & Mobility Solutions, OPT - Optimization and Transport Planning and CEiiA - Centre of Engineering and Product Development, presented the new mobility hub of the future, the O2 MOVE.
During the three days of the event, history was made at Stand 33 with the disruptive concept of O2 MOVE, which combines a modular and flexible infrastructure with innovative technology at the service of the population, facilitating the planning of journeys and having a set of essential technological features, facilitating the use of public transport and also encouraging active mobility.
ARMIS had the opportunity to share with various public authorities, customers and visitors its vision on the future of mobility and smart cities, especially on the role and impact of technology in the digitalization of cities.
Pedro Barradas, ARMIS ITS’ Chief Strategy Officer, besides attending the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, participated in the Special Interest Sessions: Deployment, traffic management and stakeholder coopetition; C-ITS deployment in Europe - Cooperative ITS is a reality; Data Driven traffic management; The Use of Space Technologies for CCAM and Urban Vehicle Access Regulations sustainable cities through harmonised digital services.
Lígia Conceição, ITS Consultant at ARMIS ITS, participated in the sessions 'The changing roles of infrastructure', for the presentation of the paper 'The Chicken and the Egg - Perspectives of C-ITS Deployment' and the Special Interest Session: 'The future of mobility data exchange in Europe - ready, set, go!
Sónia Soares, ITS Consultant at ARMIS ITS, attended the Special Interest Session: 'Urban Vehicle Access Regulations sustainable cities through harmonised digital services' and the session 'Urban mobility data', to present the Paper 'Harmonised digitisation and provision of Urban Vehicle Access Regulations'.
