As a recognized Portuguese technical consultant, ARMIS actively participates in and leads several technical working groups, playing a key role in supporting the definition of ITS policies and standards for the European Commission. This involvement includes contributions to NAPCORE and DATEX2, where standards are set for the exchange of traffic information, National Access Point (NAP) architectures and interoperability requirements.

We actively participate in European projects to support Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) policies, collaborating with road authorities, operators and other stakeholders. On behalf of Portugal, ARMIS acts as a technical consultant, contributing to the development of norms and standards such as DATEX II, facilitating the exchange and support of traffic information throughout Europe. Additionally, our involvement in NAPCORE and the establishment of European Single Access Points (NAP) aims to make transportation data more accessible and accurate to provide real-time information to users.
